On June 18th 2013, Marc Giget invited me (Albert Meige) to the “Mardis de l’Innovation” to give a non-serious conference on the theme “Magic & Innovation”. For the occasion, I also asked my friend Frank Debouck (head of the Ecole Centrale Lyon and… great magician) to come and speak about how magicians exploit certain human weaknesses, the same weaknesses that he was trying to avoid as a plane pilot… Inspiring.
In my talk, I explain how magic and innovation (and science) are closely related. I take the concrete and famous case of the woman cut in halves.
I also make a few silly tricks at the end.
