horizontal_offset_tablet=\u00a0\u00bb0&Prime; z_index_tablet=\u00a0\u00bb0&Prime;]<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Introduction<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La d\u00e9tection par des capteurs quantiques (<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">quantum sensing<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">) est un domaine de recherche qui utilise des dispositifs quantiques pour d\u00e9passer les limites classiques de la d\u00e9tection des champs magn\u00e9tiques et autres. Par exemple, il existe depuis peu des capteurs quantiques pour la d\u00e9tection de la position, de la navigation et de la synchronisation \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9chelle atomique. Ces dispositifs peuvent fournir des donn\u00e9es de positionnement pouvant se substituer \u00e0 un syst\u00e8me de positionnement conventionnel. Mais le champ d\u2019application est beaucoup plus vaste, avec des perspectives de d\u00e9veloppement int\u00e9ressantes. Parmi les applications des capteurs quantiques se trouve le radar quantique ; celui-ci m\u00e9rite une attention \u00e0 part.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Les applications des capteurs quantiques sont nombreuses<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Les capteurs quantiques ont des applications dans une grande vari\u00e9t\u00e9 de domaines, notamment la microscopie, les syst\u00e8mes de positionnement, les technologies de communication, les capteurs de champs \u00e9lectriques et magn\u00e9tiques, ainsi que dans des domaines de recherche g\u00e9ophysique tels que la prospection mini\u00e8re et la sismologie. De nombreux dispositifs de mesure utilisent les propri\u00e9t\u00e9s quantiques pour effectuer des mesures, comme les horloges atomiques, les dispositifs supraconducteurs \u00e0 interf\u00e9rence quantique et la spectroscopie de r\u00e9sonance magn\u00e9tique nucl\u00e9aire. Gr\u00e2ce aux nouvelles avanc\u00e9es technologiques, les syst\u00e8mes quantiques individuels peuvent \u00eatre utilis\u00e9s comme dispositifs de mesure, en utilisant l&rsquo;enchev\u00eatrement, la superposition, l&rsquo;interf\u00e9rence et la compression pour am\u00e9liorer la sensibilit\u00e9 et surpasser les performances des strat\u00e9gies classiques.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Le cas particulier du radar quantique<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Le radar quantique tend actuellement \u00e0 ne pas \u00eatre consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme une technologie op\u00e9rationnelle. Permet-il, d&rsquo;ores et d\u00e9j\u00e0, de d\u00e9tecter des avions furtifs\u00a0? Cette question suscite de nombreuses sp\u00e9culations mais ne semble pas avoir re\u00e7u de r\u00e9ponse admise par tout le monde.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Le principe du radar quantique est toujours l\u2019intrication quantique. L\u2019id\u00e9e est d\u2019envoyer un photon intriqu\u00e9 pour sonder l\u2019espace, et de tirer une information en mesurant son double, qui lui est gard\u00e9 \u00e0 port\u00e9e de main.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Certaines des difficult\u00e9s contenues dans la r\u00e9alisation d\u2019un radar quantique op\u00e9rationnel sont connues. Le premier d\u00e9fi r\u00e9side dans la port\u00e9e limit\u00e9e du dispositif, en raison de la perte de coh\u00e9rence des photons intriqu\u00e9s.\u00a0 Les radars classiques actuels peuvent par ailleurs interroger de nombreuses cibles, tandis que les radars quantiques sont limit\u00e9s \u00e0 une seule polarisation ou port\u00e9e. Pour surmonter la perte d\u2019information caus\u00e9e par la d\u00e9coh\u00e9rence des photons, des techniques d\u2019analyse avanc\u00e9es sont requises. Il n\u2019est pas exclu que cette technologie ne se pr\u00eate pas \u00e0 une utilisation militaire. Mais elle pourrait aussi mettre \u00e0 mal toutes les technologies de furtivit\u00e9 existantes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Conclusion<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Une chose semble certaine, c\u2019est que les agences de R&amp;D militaires affichent un grand int\u00e9r\u00eat pour les capteurs et les radars quantiques, y compris en cherchant \u00e0 les hybrider avec des syst\u00e8mes optiques conventionnels. Les radars quantiques font partie des sujets autour desquels s\u2019instaure actuellement une course technologique, avec, \u00e0 l\u2019horizon, un effet majeur de neutralisation des technologies de furtivit\u00e9. Mais, ind\u00e9pendamment des rivalit\u00e9s militaires, les gains de pr\u00e9cision aux niveaux les plus fins qu\u2019ils permettent dans une foule d\u2019applications civiles suffisent pour leur assurer une place de choix dans les agendas de R&amp;I.
